About Jacob Zemer

I’ve been a performance coach in New York City for 20 years, helping celebrities, athletes and executives get in the best shape of their lives.

My approach to fitness and nutrition is tailored for clients with demanding careers, families and real life priorities. I’ve been featured on CNN, Fox News and various publications for a relatable, no bullshit approach to fitness and nutrition. 

Way before the accolades I was a kid in Portville, New York, pop. 959. My family was poor, and my mom gave birth to me when she was 16. She was a young mother, with no college education, and my biological dad had very little interest in me. Fitness saved my life. At age 14 I started working out at the local YMCA and it gave me a sense of confidence and purpose I had never experienced before.

This program is your path to achieving the body you have always wanted. You’ll gain access to comprehensive training and nutrition plans, seamlessly integrated with daily reminders in your personal calendar via our app.

Key Features:

  • Training Programs: Your app starts with a program designed to the space you select on the intake form. You can choose from a commercial, boutique and home gym. You will also receive access to supplemental programming for travel.  All of these programs are in your app and found in the workout builder section
  • Flexible Scheduling: The program includes a structured three-day to five-day plan, meaning you have the option to train only three days a week or as many as five days a week depending on what your schedule allows.
  • Customized Nutrition Plan: Your nutrition plan will be built custom for you and your unique body/goals. You will have a calorie, protein and fiber target based on the questionnaire you fill before starting the program. You will also receive multiple templates of diet plans, with specific ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

How to Substitute an Exercise:

  • Tap the three dots next to the exercise name.
  • Select Substitute from the menu.
  • Use the search engine to browse and select from a variety of custom exercise videos available in the app.

This flexibility allows you to tailor your workout to fit your preferences, equipment availability, or physical needs while staying on track with your program.

Yes! Jacob hosts live Zoom calls every month. If you’re unable to attend the live sessions, don’t worry—they’re recorded for you to watch later. During these group calls, you’ll have the chance to interact with Jacob directly and ask any questions about health, nutrition, and fitness.

If you choose to pay monthly, the program is $29.95 with no contract where you can cancel at any time.

There is a discount for buying a yearly membership which is $179.88. This contract is for the full year which is why there is a discount to purchase. This option renews yearly.

My training philosophy is rooted in consistency and progression. I’ve found that the best results come from performing core movements week-over-week, with a focus on proper form, full range of motion, and progressive overload which is gradually increasing weight week-over-week. When progress begins to plateau, we’ll adjust the exercises to keep you moving forward.

The programs I design are both functional and hypertrophy-focused, aiming to enhance strength, mobility, and muscle growth. Most importantly, all workouts are tailored to be pain-free, ensuring a safe and sustainable fitness journey.

All of my programs are designed to accommodate everyone from beginners to advanced trainees with minimal injuries. They emphasize proper form, full range of motion, and progressive strength development week over week.

Whether you’re new to the gym or an experienced weightlifter, these programs are effective because they are built around the principle of progressive overload. As long as you do not have any significant injuries, you’ll find the structure and progression adaptable to your fitness level.

Cardio not only supports heart health but also complements your strength training for overall fitness.

You will receive a custom daily step goal while on the program. Besides that, your app will include workshops on cardiovascular activity. If you are able to spend additional time working out, we will give you recommendations for cardio in line with the American Heart Association’s guidelines.

During enrollment, you will receive three emails to guide you through the setup process:

    • Payment Confirmation: A receipt confirming your enrollment.
    • Quick Waiver: A simple form to complete before getting started.
    • App Download Instructions: Step-by-step guidance on how to download and access the app.

Be sure to check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case) to ensure you receive all the necessary details to start your journey.

We’ll be sad to see you go, but canceling your membership is simple and can be done anytime directly through the Jacob Zemer app.

How to Cancel:

  • Open the Jacob Zemer app.
  • Tap the three dots in the bottom-right corner.
  • Navigate to Purchases and locate your Active Subscription.
  • Tap the three dots next to your Active Subscription and select Cancel Auto-Renewal.
  • Confirm your cancellation when prompted by selecting Cancel again.

Important Note: Deleting the app from your phone does not cancel your membership. The subscription is managed independently and is not tied to the Apple Store.
