Welcome to the Zemer Method of training. Our approach is tailored to help you look better in and out of your clothing. Training is my passion and I’ve spent close to twenty years testing and curating a method that is not only extremely effective but also sustainable. I am confident you will learn to love to train and see a noticeable shift in your physique and mindset.

I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of people transform their bodies by safely increasing strength and improving mobility. My method and guiding principles are clear – lift through full range of motion, progress your weights and train near to technical failure.

The programs are delivered through the Zemer Method Training & Nutrition App and are comprised of four-week training blocks that progress week to week with new exercises updated monthly. My approach is consistent across all programs but exercises will vary depending on the equipment and space you have available.

Welcome to the Zemer Method of nutrition an approach that will forever change how you see food, your health, and yourself. I believe dieting is about 340 days a year, not 365. Human beings are social creatures. There are moments in life that you should celebrate with the people you love but in order to have a long and prosperous life, your nutrition must be dialed in.

I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of people transform their bodies by losing fat and building muscle. My guiding principles for nutrition are: (1) portion size is king; (2) protein is the most important macronutrient; (3) fiber is the cheat code to living a longer life; and (4) 20% of your diet can be completely flexible – eat what you love.

The nutrition program is delivered through the Zemer Method Training & Nutrition App and comprised of a four-week video series that will empower you to take ownership of your health and nutrition. The videos are both theory and application based with over 60 videos in the series, which include but are not limited to: (1) how to calculate your calories and macros; (2) which labs to order; (3) the importance of accountability; and (4) which exercise will help you to reach your goals.

You will receive access to our master fitness and nutrition program upon signing up. The training program consists of a 3 day split with two additional optional days.  The nutrition program allows you to set up your own diet and provides guidance to get in the best shape of your life. In addition to these master programs you will also have access to various supplemental programs. 

You will have one way messaging available in the app so that we can send you notes as well as periodic informational guides surrounding nutrition and training.  If you need further assistance you can contact support@jacobzemer.com, and we will respond back to you via email. 

My philosophy around programming, and what I’ve found to yield the best results, is to complete the same movements week over week while focusing on progressing the weight and increasing range of motion. Once we see returns diminish, we will update the exercises. My programs are functional while also focusing on hypertrophy. All workouts should be pain free.

We will be sad to see you go, however you can simply cancel in the app at any time by opening your Jacob Zemer app, selecting the three dots at the bottom right hand corner and then navigating to purchases. You will then see “active subscription.”  Hover over the three dots in the active subscription and click, “Cancel Auto-Renewal.” You will be prompted to confirm that you want to cancel, if so, click “Cancel.” Note: simply removing the application from your phone will not cancel your membership. The membership is not run through the Apple store.

You can substitute any exercise by clicking the three dots next to the exercise name, click substitute, then use the search engine to find additional custom exercise videos in the app. 

All programs are created for a beginner up to an advanced trainee who has minimal injuries.  This is because my programs focused around proper form, full range of motion, and progressively getting stronger week over week.  As long as you do not have any significant injuries, both someone new to the gym and as advanced as a weight lifter can train using these programs. All of these programs are intended to help you build muscle whether you are currently dieting or actively eating to increase size. If you are dieting this program will help you maintain muscle and perhaps even build some. If you are maintaining or presently eating in a surplus to increase size, you will definitely build muscle following this program. 

Cardio is not included in my app; however, in accordance with the American Heart Association, we strongly recommend 75 minutes of intense or 150 of moderate cardio weekly.  Intense cardio is defined as >135 bpm and broken up into 2-3 sessions per week.  Moderate cardio is defined as 105-135 bpm and can be broken up into 2-5 sessions per week.
