Consumer spending is changing store shelving, and this is a big win for Americans.
When I was a kid, the only things in the checkout aisle were candy and bubblegum. Now, these aisles in stores have higher protein snacks like beef jerky, legendary Pop Tarts, and protein bars.
This is a huge indicator that Americans are becoming more protein conscious and health conscious.
