Processed. Meat. Is. Cancerous.
It has always been a carcinogen, and it still is a carcinogen.
You do not want your go-to protein source to be from processed meat. You want to get it primarily from single ingredient foods.
20% of your diet can be foods that help you hit your macros or foods that you actually enjoy tasting. If you enjoy deli meat, have some from time to time. If you need a protein bar or some whey protein to help you hit your goal, it’s perfectly fine.
But it should not be an everyday thing, and it should not be the main source of where you get your protein. Instead, focus on single-ingredient foods.
