Today, we’re looking at Hero Hawaiian rolls.
Personally, I don’t love Hero bread (there are others I like better, like Royo and 647 Bread), but these Hawaiian rolls are so savory and they have some sweetness to them, which I love.
MACROS:
60 calories
4 grams of protein (not all bioavailable)
11 grams of fiber (there should be at least 1 gram of fiber per 10 calories)
2.5 grams of saturated fat (probably from the egg)
INGREDIENTS
Resistant wheat starch and artichoke fiber (this is where the fiber is coming from)
TASTE TEST: These rolls are 80-90% as good as traditional Hawaiian rolls. I would definitely incorporate these into my diet to help me hit my fiber goals. Put one of these Hawaiian rolls on the side with a serving of protein and some vegetables for dinner, and enjoy.
