🍪 I ate a bunch of My Cookie Dealer’s Toaster Pastries to see how they taste and what their protein content is like. They taste awesome, but they don’t pass our protein test.
Here are the macros:
– 280 calories
– 20g protein (doesn’t pass the protein test)
– 3.5g of saturated fat (that means this is a lean protein source)
– 0g fiber (I don’t love that)
– 15g of added sugar
– Ingredients: everything and the kitchen sink
I personally practice flexible dieting (80% single-ingredient foods, 20% what I enjoy).
So how do they taste?
🍫 Chocolate: good
🥧 Apple pie: awesome
🫐 Blueberry: awesome
These taste better than any protein bar I’ve had. Part of that is because they don’t pass the protein test. That extra fat and sugar goes a long way to making something taste good. The good news is the protein is fully bioavailable.
In terms of taste, they’re definitely better than Legendary Protein Pastries. However, day to day, I would choose Legendary over these because Legendary has better macros.
