I am so pumped that Pure Genius Protein is back on the market.
You may recall my review of Genius Shots, which was formulated and marketed by @MikeIsraetelMakingProgress from @RenaissancePeriodization. While I thought it tasted a little like cough syrup, it was very low in calories and in a small bottle so you can travel with it through TSA at the airport. This is why I recommended Genius Shots to my coaching clients while they traveled.
Now, @melrobbins has bought the rights to this brand and rebranded it to Pure Genius.
We’ve got 3 flavors:
🍋 Blue Lemonade
🍓 Strawberry Guava
🍍 Pineapple
The taste of these protein shots has significantly improved. They each have 100 calories in them, which is a bit more than the original Genius Shots, probably as a result of making them taste better.
In my opinion, the better taste is absolutely worth the extra 10 calories. They don’t taste quite as good as other protein shakes like @Fairlife or @Nurri, but if you travel frequently, this is a great option for you to hit your macros while you’re away from home.
