I spent over $200 buying every premade protein shake at Sam’s Club to find which ones are actually worth your money. I break down macros, taste, ingredients, and price per shake to help you choose wisely.
Here are the shakes I reviewed:
Premier Protein: 160 cal, 30g protein, 0g fiber
Boost: 250 cal, 20g protein, 0g fiber
Member’s Mark High Protein: 160 cal, 30g protein, 3g fiber
Member’s Mark Ultra-Filtered: 160 cal, 30g protein, 0g fiber
Fairlife Nutrition Plan: 150 cal, 30g protein, 1g fiber
Fairlife Core Power: 230 cal, 42g protein, 2g fiber
Nuri: 150 cal, 30g protein, 0g fiber
Muscle Milk (reformulated in 2026): 200 cal, 33g protein, 2g fiber
Raw Nutrition: 150 cal, 30g protein, 1g fiber
My favorites:
✅ Nurri – great macros, absolutely delicious, and only $1,80/can
✅ Fairlife Nutrition Plan – my all-time favorite ultra-filtered milkshake. Rich and creamy taste, but it’s a bit expensive at $2.25/shake
✅ Premier Protein – the lemon bar flavor was surprisingly really good, the macros are good, and the price is about $1.50/shake
Pass on these:
❌ Boost – fails the protein test, 11g of added sugar, avoid this one
❌ Raw Nutrition – one of the worst tasting protein shakes I tried
❌ Muscle Milk (2026) – while the new formula is an improvement, this is still my least favorite ultra-filtered milk from Sam’s Club
