I’ve heard great things about Redefine Meal Prep in Hartsdale, NY, so I went there and picked up five meals covering a range of options — poultry, beef, pasta, Mexican, and a sandwich — and reviewed each one on macros, protein quality, fiber, saturated fat, and of course, taste.
Here’s what I tried & how the macros stack up:
🧀 Honey Garlic Chicken Mac & Cheese ⭐ My #1 Pick
510 cal | 42g protein | 3g fiber
Incredible flavor. Real chicken breast, you can taste the garlic and honey, and the pasta quality is legit. This one blew me away.
🥩 Sourdough Sliced Steak Sandwich ⭐ My #2 Pick
520 cal | 44g protein | 2g fiber
Smells amazing, tastes even better. Garlicky, cheesy, with a clearly lean cut of steak. Starting off with a bang.
🍝 Penne alla Vodka with Grilled Chicken
420 cal | 41g protein | 2g fiber
Best macros of the bunch. Lowest calories, zero added sugar. The chicken was a touch rubbery and the sauce isn’t quite homemade vodka sauce, but still really good. Weakest of the five, but that’s a high bar.
🫓 Southwest Chicken Quesadilla
610 cal | 47g protein | 2g fiber
Lots of kick and great seasoning, but 13g of saturated fat in a single meal is too high for my liking. Would’ve been a much better option with a high-fiber tortilla swap.
🥢 Spicy Beef Teriyaki Stir Fry
360 cal | 45g protein | 3g fiber
Best macros-to-protein ratio of any meal here. Passes the Protein Test with flying colors. Watch out for the sauce though. It tastes too good to be true, and the calories may not account for it.
My overall verdict? The food tastes great, the macros are solid, and the quality of ingredients is legit. I still think Green Life holds the #1 spot in Westchester, but Redefine Meal Prep is a strong #2. If you’re in the area and looking for a meal prep company that actually supports your fitness goals, this one is worth checking out.
