Catalina Crunch has entered the granola game.
I love Catalina Crunch and their cereal because it’s high in protein and fiber. But granola is always highly caloric, and it’s something I like but don’t love.
If i’m going to spend 500-800 calories eating something that I really enjoy, it’s going to be something like a burger. Not granola.
Some granola is 130 calories for just 1/4 of a cup. Are you only going to pour one cup of granola into a bowl? Likely, you’re going to be eating 500+ calories of granola in a sitting.
Is that worth it to you?
If it is, Catalina Crunch has a better alternative than traditional granola:
– 280 calories
– 13g protein (does not pass our protein test)
– 9g fiber (good source of fiber)
– Lots of healthy fats
– Tastes great, especially the peanut butter flavor!
For me, granola is simply not worth the calories.
